About

Here are some things I like, at least right now. I change my mind sometimes.

Landscapes: ancient woodlands, the sea, a cosy room, cityscapes by water, universities.

Books: Discworld novels, Earthsea novels, the Last Unicorn, the Heart is a Lonely Hunter, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Music: Ikuko Harada, Joanna Newsom, Kate Bush, Nerina Pallot, Seventeen. Also ambient noise, the real kind, not youtube, e.g. traffic (when distant), fan, kettle (well, some of them), washing machine, someone pottering.

Mysteries: the voice, space, ritual, dreams.

Teas: buckwheat, hojicha, nettle, rose, turmeric.
